Week 5 - 9/28/2015

We're heading into the end of boot camp.  Soon we'll be writing real articles intended for publication.  Hang in there!  First, a little more practice.

Here's the agenda for the week of 9/28/2015.

Later this week I may be able to post the Structure of an Interview worksheet (about George Washington) on this blog.  It's not in digital format yet.

Some of the readings I'll be assigning later in the week are linked below:

Keep your eyes out for the next update.  And be ready to have some fun.  The Martian Homecoming press conference is just around the corner!  Friday or Monday, at this point.

Writing and Journalism Syllabus

Welcome, Writing and Journalism Students!

Blogging is going to be a key part of what we do as journalism students this semester. It makes sense that I should be putting your assignments on this blog, just as I want you to post what you write on the Knightly News blog for the school to read.

Let's get off on the right foot this year.  One thing we can do with this blog is to give you a stable place to find your assignments, handouts, and forms.  For example, do you need another copy of the syllabus for your parents?  Here they are:
And here's another copy of the agenda for the week of 9/1/2015.

Good luck this semester!  We're going to have a blast!
